Emeka Obiwulu poses with some volunteers. The Offshore Lab has partnered with Bauchi State University to launch the Campus Green Belt initiative at the university’s main campus in Gadau. One thousand fruit-bearing trees were planted. The launch of the Campus Green Belt initiative has been made possible through the collaboration of various stakeholders, including university leadership, local government officials, and community members.

She said, “In as much as the university always had this idea of wanting to establish something like this, I must say that this is the conception of The Offshore Lab with the support of Shell Petroleum Development Company.” As Nigerians celebrate June 12 Democracy Day, members of Civil Society Organisations , under the aegis of Osun Civil Societies Coalition and social activists, yesterday, during a peaceful procession in OsogboOsun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, yesterday, identified free and fair elections as the best way to honour the memory of the acclaimed winner of the June 12 presidential election, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola and other democratic heroes.
