Climate change activists bring Dublin to a standstill in protest march

Climate change protesters brought traffic to a standstill on Friday as they took a stand on environmental issues.

He told the Irish Mirror: “There’s this mantra that the hippies are closing down Dublin. Lads, as a nation we just need to wake up. “We’ve had so much ink and talk about Brexit over the past few years but this is a thousand times worse than anything Brexit can bring. Maynooth University student Aran Smeellie, 22, has been involved in climate change activism “for years” and spoke of how proud he was of the “first real march in Dublin”.
