Aren't TFL a private company running public transport (like many train and bus services around the country). I'd be surprised if the police have the authority to tell them to turn off their wifi without a court order!

Agree the police 🚨 need to do this. What also needs to be taken into consideration is public safety and the possibility of terrorist attack.
That will teach them, switch off the internet and annoy customers even more.
Pickpockets and other criminals will be delighted.
