Councillors are to formally accept the money next week, which will be used to make homes more energy efficient.

The Scottish Government grant funding is to be awarded to the city to help home owners and tenants renting privately who are at risk of fuel poverty.

The aim is to improve the energy performance of homes towards achieving an EPC rating of C or better and to reduce "energy usage and fuel costs" according to a council report.Councillors are to decide whether to formally accept the affordable warmth programme - Energy Efficient Scotland - Area Based Schemes grant funding award for 2024 to 2025 - at a meeting next week.
