The footage, which caught the attention of many, prompted discussions and concerns about the incident's authenticity."In the incident on Monday , the IPD Kubang Pasu operations room received information from members of the public at 6.24pm that a man was seen climbing up a power substation," said Kubang Pasu OCPD Supt Rodzi Abu Hassan, adding that the substation which belonged to Tenanga Nasional was located near Kampung Muhibbah, Bandar Darulaman in Kedah.
"The Motorcycle Patrol Unit and members of the Jitra Police Station were then dispatched to investigate and found that the suspect was still on top of the substation," he said, adding that the police worked with the Jitra Fire and Rescue Station, the Kubang Pasu Civil Defense Force and an ambulance to talk the man down.
