"So we're going to keep an eye on that."In a media release, the city said the electrification of its fleet is part of its net-zero strategy, and would eliminate 78,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, with most of that coming as a result of electrifying the transit fleet. Buses would continue to have auxiliary diesel heaters for use in the winter, the city said.
