The man was allegedly pushed off his electric bike

At around 5.45pm on April 10, emergency services were called to Altcross Road in Croxteth after reports of a crash involving an off-road motorbike and a pedal-assisted electric bike.

An 18-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested yesterday, April 30, on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. He has been conditionally bailed to a later date pending further enquiries. Detective Inspector Michael Fletcher said: "Two arrests have now been made in connection with this incident, but we are still appealing to anyone who may have information to come forward.
