Sky News host chriskkenny says billshortenmp's ‘silly comments’ on electric cars have exposed the ‘recklessness and implausibility’ of his climate and energy policy push.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says Labor’s climate policy and electric car plan is ‘policy madness’ and a ‘recipe for disaster’.

As part of his climate policy, Opposition leader Bill Shorten has committed to ensuring 50 per cent of all vehicles, equating to about 575,000 cars, sold in 10 years’ time will be electric. Following a radio interview in which Mr Shorten made errors in the time it takes to charge one of these vehicles, Mr Kenny says his ‘silly comments’ have exposed the ‘recklessness and implausibility’ of his climate and energy policy push.

chriskkenny billshortenmp More idiotic political hackery from Kenny. The coalition was gushing about Electric Vehicles last year until Labor made it a focus, now they're back to wrecking an industry (again) Coalition have a similar sales target and has already been funding extending the charging network

chriskkenny billshortenmp Why cant you except the truth about climate change as electric cars are the future throughout the globe but and AUSTRAIA needs to keep up

chriskkenny billshortenmp 7 minutes charge is a joke, a fiction. any people has basic knowledge of battery technology knows it. But top aussie politicians don't know, and even embrassing is they are crafting bold policies based on their ignorance.

chriskkenny billshortenmp Wind farms powering new fandangled electric cars. See how that works out.

chriskkenny billshortenmp Get with the rest of the world Kenny - what makes Australia so special that electric cars wouldn’t work ? Get into the 21st century instead of 19th century - I suppose you also don’t think we need fast rail - 300 km/ hr not 150 km/ hr

chriskkenny billshortenmp And what does your favourite treasurer think?

chriskkenny billshortenmp Pity you're so far behind, really.

chriskkenny billshortenmp Seriously though. Who plans on driving their EV through the middle of Australia from coastline to the other? Most people probably wouldn’t drive it between states. Personally I’d use an EV just for drives between home and the city which is only a 45 minute drive.

chriskkenny billshortenmp Mobile phones. We seem to adapted infrastructure for that pretty quick.

chriskkenny billshortenmp Really SCOOTER ElectricVehicle RenewableEnergy kennyonsunday pmlive auspol

chriskkenny billshortenmp Better than Liberals Oh yeah that's right they don't have one. Sky giving more one sided stories yet again.

chriskkenny billshortenmp Electric cars is 'SHIT ' full stop...

chriskkenny billshortenmp

chriskkenny billshortenmp More Murdoch’s influence on fakenews?

chriskkenny billshortenmp Over in Texas they charge car 30 minutes by sun look it up

chriskkenny billshortenmp Common sense will prevail you would hope and the electric car bull shit will die a natural death. Who ever set silly Billy up with this rubbish, will be laughing their heads off ! 😂
