CAPE TOWN - Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment Barbara Creecy said that the adoption of the Climate Change Bill was a"landmark" in the country's response to climate change.
The was adopted by both houses of Parliament without much objection, as the country tries to keep a closer tab on the causes of climate change. Creecy said that the NCOP's passing of the bill would now"mainstream climate action" across all of government.
