China’s world-beating electric vehicle industry, at the heart of growing trade tensions with the US and Europe, is set to receive a big boost from the government’s latest effort to accelerate growth.

LUMUT: The Royal Malaysian Navy's 90th anniversary celebrations here will be cancelled due to the mid-air collision between two Navy helicopters, says Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.“All celebrations planned have been cancelled,” he told reporters after visiting the accident site, and as well as visiting families of the crew at the naval base on Tuesday .

He said the two helicopters involved were a Fennec M502-6, and a HOM M503-3. There were three and seven personnel inside the helicopter, respectively. “As for the Fennec, this was the third rehearsal involving the helicopter, while it was the first for the HOM that the navy had acquired in 2021. “A total of seven helicopters were involved in the rehearsal that was into the fourth day today,” he said.

When asked about the cause of the accident, Mohamed Khalid said it was best for the investigations to be completed.Lumut copter collision: 10 dead, no survivors, says MinistryCopter collision: Felcra settlers mourn the passing of one of their ownCopter collision: Avoid speculation, respect sensitivity of victim's families, says DPM FadillahTwo directors charged with cheating man out of RM1.
