Sky News host Andrew Bolt says Labor’s plan to put more electric cars on the road is like another pink batts scheme ‘on steroids’. As part of his climate policy announced on Monday, Opposition leader Bill Shorten has committed to ensure 50 per cent of all cars sold in 10 years’ time will be electric. Mr Bolt says that if Australians use more electric cars, people will use more electricity, which Labor will provide less of when closing coal-fired power generators to cut emissions.

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Miss retail politics doesn’t give a toss about what’s in the National interest

JaneMarwick billshortenmp The same people didn’t like roof top solar

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Liberals never live for the future they are too scared of change

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Sounding more and more like a borrowed version of AOC ludicrous Green New Joke everyday?

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Painful listening to them talking about US Democrats and the Mueller Report. All we have is the Barr Report . A man who wrote pre-employment letter saying Pres can’t obstruct justice, then wrote conclusory summary exonerating on questionable basis. Murdoch propaganda machine.

JaneMarwick billshortenmp The fact is in a decade from now we will still be building the infrastructure the government is talking about.

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Environment officials also confirmed the Morrison Government’s Electric Vehicle Strategy projects that 50% of new car sales in 2030 will be electric cars, resulting in 10MT of C02 abatement. Hmm...where have I heard that 50% target before? 🤔😉 PS. Someone better tell the PM.

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Is 50% of new cars in 2030 being ElectricVehicles a 'thought bubble' or what informed analysts expect & what the Environment Department has projected in advice to the LNP government?! ElectricCars emissions auspol AusVotes2019 Greens Labor

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Why are we making a political points out of something that’s a decade away we will have three election during that time . All that matters is the next three years to start with. I am thankful I have a remote to switch sky off

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Bullshit, Europe are saying they will ONLY be making electric cars by 2035 yet your having a go at labor for targeting only 50% 5 years earlier in 2030. You dinosaurs have no idea

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Fool the people with a noble-sounding ideology, and win votes by deception of how it will affect the ordinary citizen. Free stuff and virtue signalling lures in the masses, until they realise how much it really costs them.

JaneMarwick billshortenmp Maybe Credlin would like to go back 100 years to see how petrol ousted horses. It started like she sounds...

JaneMarwick billshortenmp It’s OK. Electric cars are coal powered.

JaneMarwick billshortenmp It's a green flag for the opportunity of the century. How would this compare to a 1910 call for petrol powered vehicles? Go have a look!!!
