Electric Picnic 2024 will take place on August 16-18, two weeks earlier than usual, with ticketholders recently voicing their concerns that organisers have yet to reveal a single act set to perform at this year's festival

The countdown to Electric Picnic 2024 is on, as the first act for this year's festival has been revealed.

In previous years the line-up was released in March and last year a full line-up wasn’t announced until late April. However, in December 2022, 10 months before the 2023 festival, 10 artists were announced including headliners Billie Eilish and Fred Again. Now the first act announced to perform at Electric Picnic 2024 has been revealed, with the Timahoe Male Voice Choir confirming to Laois Live that they are booked to play the Hazelwood Stage, on Saturday, August 17.
