The Federal Government is partnering the Republic of India on space research, peaceful use of atomic energy and biotechnology in the country.
Nigeria, Onu said, is building an innovative society, so that the citizens can use their knowledge to produce goods and services, while commending the Indian government for training Nigerian scientists and its success on anti-satellite missiles. Other areas of interest, according to the envoy, are resource mapping and the application of science and technology to industrial growth and development.
Onu disclosed this during a courtesy visit by members of the Neighbourhood Children’s Parliament in his office yesterday in Abuja.
