Canada’s failure to fight climate change ‘disturbing,’ environment watchdog says

Canada is not on track to hit its 2030 target, despite policies like the national price on carbon that took effect this week.

Canadians think fighting climate change is good, as its good for the other guy, BUT not in their back yard ! What they can lose is far more important than what they leave their kids and grand kids ! It's all about them !

Canadians have been fighting for decades Not a single one of the technologies now supported by self serving politicians is new They were all developed and popularized by previous generations who cared more about the environment than they did enriching politicians

It's also very disturbing that a legal activity such as consumption of cannabis is still demonized for 10% of workers in Canada, while the science shows ng/ml of thc metabolites have no correlation with impairment. We should have worker rights for all legal activities, not some.
