BMW is set to launch the second-generation electric iX3 in 2025. It will be sold alongside the replacement for the gasoline-powered X3, expected to debut later this year. Built on the Neue Klasse platform with sixth-generation eDrive technology, the iX3 will offer single or dual-motor setups and a range exceeding 500 miles. An M performance model with up to 600 horsepower could also be added to the range in the near future.
It will be complemented by a 3D Head-Up display and powered by a highly integrated software architecture that combines various data streams for a tailored, situation-specific interaction between the iX3 and its occupants. Efficient Propulsion The transition from CLAR underpinnings to the Neue Klasse platform heralds the sixth generation of BMW eDrive technology.
