For 2019, Ireland’s festival count has increased even more with loads of great new music events popping up around the country.

Their first line-up boasts headline acts Lily Allen and Clean Bandit as well as Gossip, Kelis and Irish songstress, Soulé. Festival staples Daithi, Horse Beat Disco and Kelly-Anne Byrne will also perform giving revellers plenty to dance to.Tickets for the festival go on sale today from Ticketmaster at the super early bird price of €96.25.

KALEIDOSCOPE From the people behind EP comes Kaleidoscope, a three day camping festival aimed at families and friends in the gorgeous grounds of Russborough House in Blessington, Co Wicklow.There’s also workshops and tours, trails and theatre lined up for this jam-packed festival that’s sure to make a big mark this year.

Day tickets start from €89.50 and weekend €159.50 from Eventbrite. Physical tickets are available in Lar Na Pairce, Thurles. Choice Price nominees Kojaque and Pillow Queens will perform as well as Gilles Peterson, Saint Sister, Lisa O’Neill and Meltybrains?VANTASTIVAL Everyone’s favourite campervan festival marks its 10th year and brings plenty of well-known faces to the masses.

But those who know Knockan know that it’s more than just the music with all sorts of weird and wonderful happenings expected over the weekend of July 19-21.SEA SESSIONS Bundoran’s favourite surf and music festival returns and this year’s line-up is among their best to date.Wild Youth, Bitch Falcon and The Sugarhill Gang will also perform at the Donegal festival.Tickets are priced from €139.90 for four nights camping, €109.

ANOTHER LOVE STORY The bespoke weekender of music, art and conversation makes a welcome return to Killyon Manor in Co Meath from August 16-18. Among those set to headline the festival are former Frankie Goes To Hollywood singer Holly Johnson, and English synth pop legends The Human League.
