Both newcomers feature the new Citroen logo and while the e-SpaceTourer is electric only, the Berlingo will be available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines as well as the EV model.

In this instalment of John Murdoch's Drive Time, John previewstwo new people movers arriving this month from Citroen, and discovers that Skoda will launch a small Crossover called the Epiq next year.

With the front passenger seat folded down, the load length extends to 2.70m for the M version and 3.05m for the XL version and the vehicle has 27 different storage compartments, resulting in 186 litres of practical storage space inside. It is powered by a 136bhp motor and has a range of up to 205 miles with 80 per cent recharging times of 30 minutes from a fast charging station.

The e-SpaceTourer’s range has been extended to 217 miles and the vehicle is available in two trim levels: You! and top-of-the-range Max. Both trim levels are available in M and XL body lengths. Using an 11kW AC charger, full recharge is achieved in four hours 50 minutes for the 50kWh battery and seven hours 30 minutes for the 75kWh battery.

The car will be built in Spain and measures 4.1 metres in length and features a large interior with up to 490 litres of luggage capacity.
