Two people have been left hospitalised after an incident involving a display car at a Western Sydney shopping centre with a teenager sitting inside shattered a glass panel and drove into a Myer store.A crime scene has been established at Liverpool Westfield in Sydney's west after an electric car on display hit and injured two shoppers.
Emergency services were alerted of the incident about 12.30pm, arriving to the George Street shopping complex to find two civilians with wounds. NSW Police confirmed a 14-year-old boy was behind the wheel during the ordeal and that he had been interrogated at the scene. Vision from the scene circulating on social media showed several beauty stands and mannequins toppled inside the Myer outlet along with a number of items scattered on the floor.Shopper Maureen Reynolds who witnessed the scenes said glass had fallen on customers sitting at a café on the ground floor who were"cut and bleeding".
