Three payments of €150 each have been agreed by the Government in a bid to tackle surging energy costs. Every household in Ireland will benefit amid the cost of living crisis.

Every household in Ireland will get €450 off their electricity bills in the coming months in a bid to help with the cost of living crisis.

Three similar energy credits have already been paid since 2022. The first was paid between November 1 and December 31, 2022, the second between January 1 and February 28, 2023 and the third between March 1, 2023 and April 30, 2023. Who is eligible? Anyone who holds a household electricity account can get the payment, including pay as you go customers. The scheme will not be means tested.
