Our Saviour Lutheran School guard Ian Jackson took an official visit with the UNC basketball program in January, less than two weeks before he announced his commitment to head coach Hubert Davis and his staff. But Jackson is now set to return for what will likely be the lone official visit of his senior year before inking his name as a futureduring the early signing period .

Jackson, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound five-star showman who sits at No. 10 overall and No. 2 in New York on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, is one of three 2024 prospects expected to sign their national letter of intent with the Tar Heels either this week or next. The other two are Northwood five-star forward Drake Powell, who boasts a No. 12 composite ranking, and Link Academy four-star center James Brown, who ranks No. 64 in the class.

Powell and Brown were together on official visits in October, the same weekend as the Live Action intrasquad scrimmage in the Dean E. Smith Center. UNC basketball's impressive 2024 collection currently ranks No. 3 overall in the country, per 247Sports. Meanwhile, there are no reported offers from the staff to any of the cycle's undecided talents.
