Leeds have been electric in attack for the majority of the season, especially so in recent weeks.

Former Leeds United left-back Ben Parker couldn't help but compare Crysencio Summerville and Dan James to two of the Whites' League One heroes from their days back in the third-tier.

Parker was a key component of Leeds' time in League One, with the Pontefract-born defender making 55 appearances for his local side including a 24-game spell as Leeds came unstuck in the ultimately unsuccessful 2008-09 campaign. It took Leeds three bites at the cherry to reach the Championship once again, by which time Parker had become a fringe player and seemingly on his way out of the club. But he saw enough in his time at Elland Road to liken some of the League One-winning squad to today’s Championship promotion hopefuls - with Summerville and James picking up plaudits from the 35-year-old after their roles in a 4-1 win over Huddersfield at the weekend.

“I liken Summerville and James back to my day when we had Snodgrass and Gradel. Threats on both sides of the pitch. “It is a nightmare to defend against. if you’ve only got one, you can shuffle over. But when you have the pace of both and the quality to add to it, it is so hard to defend against.”
