Need help paying bills? Find out about Saturday’s utility assistance fair

CLEVELAND, Ohio – If you are having a hard time paying your utility bills, there’s an opportunity this Saturday to get some relief.

Organizations that will be on hand are the sewer district, Cleveland Division of Water, Cleveland Public Power, Dominion Gas, FirstEnergy, CHN Housing Partners, Step Forward and Community Housing Solutions. Those seeking help should bring copies of their electric, gas, sewer and water bills, along with proof of household income, which can be provided by a paystub, social security statement or most-recent tax form. Other documents that can be helpful include birth certificate, driver’s license or other form of state identification, Social Security card, lease agreement if renting and evidence of supplemental medical insurance.
