KUALA LUMPUR: A driver drove straight to the Cyberjaya fire station after seeing a large python emerging from the hood of his moving car.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN : The Brunei Magistrate’s Court has handed a 16-month jail sentence to a Malaysian national for stealing electrical cables from his employer.

Sathiaseelan Ramarao, 35, stole four electrical cables from his employer’s business premises sometime between December 2022 and January this year. Prosecutor Ahmad Firdaus bin Mohammad said the man, with the help of accomplices, stole spare cables left at the business premises for safekeeping. Senior Magistrate Harnita Zelda Skinner also heard that Ramarao had received money from sales of the stolen copper cables.

A colleague discovered that the cables had gone missing in January and led to a police report being filed, and the man arrested. - Borneo Bulletin/ANNIndira Gandhi's appeal hearing for leave to initiate contempt against IGP rescheduled to April 2024Lao and Thai PMs naugurate Vientiane-Khamsavath railway station; link between two countries to further boost trade
