OVO has joined the National Grid's Demand Flexibility Service, offering customers the opportunity to save up to £160 on their energy bills. By using devices outside of peak times, customers can participate in the service and receive discounts on their bills. OVO's Power Move challenge is also combined with the scheme, creating Power Move Plus. The supplier aims to incentivise long-term changes in energy usage to tackle the climate crisis.

OVO customers are set to save up to £160 off their energy bills due to the supplier signing up to the National Grid's saving scheme.

OVO is the latest supplier to sign up to take part in the service, which it is combining with its Power Move challenge, creating Power Move Plus. The supplier said customers could save £100 from the DFS scheme alone and up to £160 when combined with the Power Move challenges.Read more: DWP payments and money changes in November
