Some schools in Adelaide have offered their support and encouragement to students who plan to walk out of their classrooms this morning to protest against climate change inaction.Students say they are"sick and tired" of inaction on climate changeThousands of young people across the country willtoday to incite governments to do more to reduce fossil fuel emissions.

South Australian Premier Steven Marshall also said encouraging students to leave school to attend the rally was"outrageous". Doha Khan, from Glenunga International High School, said about 50 students would be attending the rally from her school.

I think it’s fantastic that young people are walking out of school today to protest inaction on ClimateChange. If we can have non-school public holidays for a horse race or teacher student-free days, a few hours marching for their future is not going to do any harm. auspol
