Infiniti is finally ready to sell its first electric vehicle, and it looks like it will be a sleek, premium sedan made in America

Although its parent brand Nissan is one of the earliest adopters of modern EVs, Infiniti has been slow to join the electric movement. However, it is now planning to get into the game, dropping a teaser for the Vision QE, a concept version of what will become its first EV. Infiniti has so far said little about the upcoming model, but judging from the teaser image, it would appear to be a sedan.

Featuring the new three-dimensional Infiniti badge and a lineup of piano-key running lights that stretch across the entirety of its nose, the new Infiniti promises to be both striking and premium-looking. Infiniti recently revealed the QX Monograph concept, which previews its next-generation QX80. Big and bold, the updated model is expected to jump in price from around $70,000 to around $100,000 in a bid to attract more wealthy customers.
