- On Wednesday, Boss Energy announced the commencement of mining activities at its Honeymoon uranium project in South Australia.

The company said that pre-conditioning effectively cleans the wellfields of unwanted chlorides and calcium prior to uranium recovery being extracted. Boss Energy also noted that the completion of these milestones ensures Honeymoon remains on track for production in Q4 2023. Mining operations at Honeymoon were previously suspended in November 2013 in response to falling uranium prices.
