Jump on an electric scooter, ride an e-bike, climb into an electric car and discover how you can electrify your own ride at an event highlighting zero-emission transportation during Berkeley’s upcoming Harvest Festival.From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 21, you can also learn about credits, rebates, grants, and loans that help lower the cost of buying an electric car or e-bike. Meet people who already own them and ask them about their experiences.

The sixth annual Ride Electric Event at the Harvest Festival will be on the park’s basketball courts at 20 Virginia Gardens, near the park. Cedar Rose Park is at 1300 Rose St. in North Berkeley. For those who enjoy browsing on their own, featured brand products will be showcased in secured custom display tables and interactive digital screens will be positioned throughout the retail showroom where guests can get a personalized product consultation, product information and even place an order at their own pace.

This service will respond to public and private locations, serve all ages and is meant to eventually be available at any time day or night.
