A number of measures are currently being considered by the government as they prepare to finalise the Budget 2024 measures on Sunday ahead of the announcement Tuesday

The Government are currently deliberating on the measures they will roll out to the public in Budget 2024.

The government have hinted that last year's energy credits would return this winter. The support won’t go as far as last year’s three €200 credits with ministers currently considering options including two credits of €200 or three smaller credits. This school year, the free school book scheme was introduced for primary schools but Education Minister Norma Foley is pushing for it to be expanded to secondary schools.
