Six Queensland Nationals MPs have reignited internal Coalition tensions on energy policy, demanding the Prime Ministers put his shelved 'big stick' energy laws to a vote during budget week.

Prime Minister Morrison's 'big stick' energy policy seeks to force energy companies to lower power prices and gives the government the jurisdiction to force the divestment if the companies are found to have misused their market power.
