Fans of the original 1992 Disney film will be happy to hear that the show follows the classic story of Aladdin as it’s brought to life on stage.
The musical spectacle will also feature songs from the Disney film as well as additional music by Tony, Olivier, Grammy and 8-time Academy Award-winning Alan Menken.As far as who we can expect to see take on the show’s iconic roles, Yeukayi Ushe will star as the Genie, while newcomer Gavin Adams will become Aladdin himself.
The musical will also star the likes of Adam Strong as Jafar, Jo Servi as Sultan, Angelo Paragoso as Iago and Adam Taylor as Omar.Mark those calendars folks!
