Land care and clean transport is a step in the right direction but it won't mean a damn thing if he also keeps shoving money at adani and allowing coal and oil mining and refining to continue around the country.

Shutdown the Adani project that nobody except the short sighted and greedy want. Give PNG some incentive to shutdown Mayur resources and their BS as well.

Prime Munster

None of it checks out.

What a joke. The government has had years to pull their finger out and do something to combat a Climate Change. Now all of a sudden, they make promises. Too late.

I see the strings of the puppeteer

Scott Morrison was never our choice as PM. Scott Morrison is the problem we want rid of. The guy who took a lump of coal into Parliament. They guy who sabotaged Turnbull’s attempts at addressing climate change then took his job.

If the last $2 billion failed to reduce Australia's (still rising) emissions, throwing another $2 billion at it is madness.

Another no-tender deal for LNP mates?

Why is he suddenly spending $2 billion on something he doesn’t believe in? Hmmmm could be chasing votes?

But nothing, no relief for the producers who are feeding this nation and many other nations...

Polluters should be footing the bill, not taxpayers. It didn’t work under Abbott and it won’t work under Scommon auspol

Desperate DAN!! Who is MR. COALMAN fooling!!!

Too little too late

Pretty sure TonyAbbottMHR direct action policy was a dud, no new ideas here...same old, same old ScottMorrisonMP

He said this is an extension of Abbott’s Direct Action. Wasn’t Direct Action a failure?

A new fund, Is it like the GBRF Or the MDBF Or the Paladin fund Or the Helloworld fund my mates fund

Too little, too late. Zero credibility on this issue.

Seems the only thing LNP government is good at is spending our money.

Smoke & mirrors.

$2b - that’s a lot of money for liberal mates. Look what they did with $423m.

This smacks of cynicism. Finally realising votes are available.

Bwahahahaha

So no market based sysyem, just big government interventionalism.

His idea of climate action is probably giving 5bil to Adani

Pork barrelling commitment

Where did the last money go to? billshortenmp

He will promise anything in his despair, trying to gain ground with every community group, as he knows his special expertise in govt is to perform backflips 🤣, which we all know he is guaranteed to do as he is a proven liar, and hypocrite, who we did not elect.

A fraction of what he’s prepared to give back as a tax return to people who haven’t paid tax. Some commitment! JohnWren1950 auspol margokingston1 drkerrynphelps billshortenmp tanya_plibersek SenatorWong

ScottMorrisonMP that's 1/2 the cost of a new generation HELE coal generation plant or about 1/3 the cost of a new nuclear generation plant with 0% emission

What a farce.

Geez legendary.

Yep. He really means well. No more lump of coals in parliament, no more laughing at climate change believers. The PM is a chamged man... until the election me thinks. After that, business as corrupt usual...

Too little TOO LATE!

less than a third of the gift to so called self funded creeps Insulting auspol

Hahahahaha!

ScottMorrisonMP trevorevansbne which is it? Australia will meet its emissions commitment at a cantor, or we need to invest more money now just to have a chance to get there? Where is the LNP school of acrobatics? My wife would never let me get away with so many back flips.
