Jordan Clarkson said that for the first time in this FIBA Basketball World Cup, he finally got open looks and the rhythm he used to having.

That resulted into a 24-point outburst in the third quarter spiked by five triples, four of which he buried in succession, as Gilas Pilipinas salvaged a win in the world meet against China, 96-75, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, September 2.The Philippines ended the tournament with a 1-4 win-loss card.'The basket felt big at that point. We got a good flow.

The crowd was just amazing. The fans were amazing. It was just so much energy in there. We just really want a win and gift them that,' said Clarkson. The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year added that the whole Gilas team made it a point to win for the home fans, 11,080 of them, mostly Filipinos of course, who brave the rainy weather and gave Gilas an extra shot of energy against the Chinese.
