Why we allow government to play's games on us

The government and opposition parties have not come clear on the issue of defaulting government departments and municipalities

They can go to hell

We already paying high taxes n we have to account for ur mess even when we r already for electricity bills.thats double jeopardy

Did you say R419 bil debt😢. How did we get there Mara?

The corrupt incompetent ANC put corrupt thieves in charge of Eskom, sat back and watched them steal the Company blind and now wants people to pay while doing nothing to recover stolen money or make those pay who do not, eg Soweto. Cut off those who do not pay

Screw them they are 66% over staffed and overpaid

How did we get here wher were the leaders in government what were they monitoring all theses years earning a salary for doing what

those tarrifs are un acceptable take money from those who enriched themseves by corruption bankrupting eskom

Please explain why this is an “us” problem? 🌚 did “we” misuse all that money?

Recover the money from corruption first. We don't have money mxm.

Why must we be the one paying the burden. Let's go to the streets guys

What about us the consumers of electricity, do they ever think about us. Electricity is a basic necessity and it should be made as affordable as possible.

WTF? Why should we pay a debt that was not created by us citizens?

radebe_jeff la nnyela wena Jeff o marete! It's always the end user (us consumers) who are forced to foot the bill for the shenanigans at eskom. Hell no! Collect outstanding money owed to u by Soweto&Alex Residents as well as businesses&our neighbouring countries &leave us alone!

RAMAPHOSA aka sellout is now a billionaire by selling out our struggle icons The Government must force him to donate R419bn to Eskom

Jeff Radebe's appointment not wise oneWe applaud billionaire and mining magnate Patrice Motsepe for finally breaking his silence over claims that his brothers-in-law, President Cyril Ramaphosa and energy minister Jeff Radebe, were pushing policies that were meant to benefit him at the expense of the power utility Eskom and the country at large. That's an understatement. Somehow I doubt the whole arrangement was not discussed around a braai between brothers-in-law
