Swedish carmaker Volvo's C40 Recharge is unique because it has no internal combustion engine counterpart; it is Volvo’s first standalone EV model.

It comes in a twin-motor configuration that is all-wheel drive. It packs in a 75kWh nett usable battery with an estimated 444km range , and 150kW maximum DC charging speed.
