While I hold out little hope that the Texas Senate will not fold/cooperate in this charade, I think it’s important that we all realize that this “trial” is neither civil nor criminal. Suspended Attorney General Ken Paxton still faces actual civil and criminal trials, and in my opinion, the sooner the better. This story emphasizes how many temperature records have been broken in the U.S. in the current heat wave. These warm cycles had to be caused by natural climate variability inasmuch as they preceded any human fossil fuel emissions. Despite this evidence, alarmists refuse to acknowledge the major role of natural forces in driving changes in Earth’s climate.I warily appreciate the heads-up about the heat wave hovering over Dallas and other Texas cities.Unfortunately, it is increasingly normal to hear that Texans are suffering and even dying from the extreme heat.
