The motive power comes in the form of what BYD claims to be the world's first mass-produced 8-in-1 electric powertrain, which integrates eight key components: an onboard charger, drive motor, transmission and various control units. With 152kW of power and 310Nm of torque on tap, and helped by a low 0.29 drag coefficient, 0 to 100km/h acceleration time is claimed to be 7.3 seconds.Claimed range is 420km for the 60.4kWh model and 320km for the 50.1kWh model.
