Tucson Electric Power reporting an outage in East Tucson affecting about 1,284 people. TEP has sent repair crews.

UPDATE : Tucson Electric Power says it has restored power on Tucson's East Side after reporting an outage affecting about 1,284 people in the intense summer heat.

KGUN captured video of a single-car accident that appears to have caused the crash; an SUV crashed into a telephone pole at Wilmot and Lee, where a TEP crew was seen working to solve the issue. The outage ran approximately from Grant south to East 5th Street, and East of Craycroft to just East of Kolb.
