Alberta regulator reconsiders Fort Hills oilsands approval after critical reportEDMONTON — Alberta’s energy regulator is reconsidering a project it approved months ago after receiving a critical report on Fort Hills Energy’s plan to mine… I have very little faith that the Alberta Regulators will do the right thing. Sadly it’s gonna be “drill baby, drill”. The article is not specific however it sounds like their concerned with Suncor’s experience with tailing ponds is vast and successful.
