Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo says Africa can become the world’s first green civilisation through the use of renewable energy.

He said the agreement – which entails investing in projects like water purification, reforestation, and clean cooking – is the type of multi-level collaboration needed for Nigeria and Africa to achieve climate change objectives. “The truth of the matter is that we are left with no choice today in the world and for many who are taking the developments in the whole climate change story, it is evident that everyday reminds us that we get closer and closer to the point of no return.

“In other words, Africa can become the first truly green civilisation; the first civilisation on earth to use renewable fuels for the purposes of a transformative economic journey.

My to put all our eggs in the basket of fuel. What happened when oil will become a common resources in the world

Sorry to respectfully disagree Sir ProfOsinbajo but our priority like e.g India should be development of the country using the resources that she has.The 'green energy' rhetoric coming from countries that have already reached their potential should not limit our own potential.

No achievement, nah only talk for mouth, unah done thief us dry.

Una never generate more than 5,000MW. Una wan do renewable...

Motivational speaker, all talk but no action, worst government ever

Nonsense!

I just empathise on how his tenure is ending without any landmark sustainable achievements or action to be attributed solely to him.

Talk with no action

7 years and you're still giving epistles. 🤮

The most useless VP in history. Only good at attending burials and naming ceremony
