2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Looks Like The New All-Electric Luxury King Of Its Class
Exterior changes compared to the standard Mercedes will likely include Maybach’s hood ornament, a new grille, slightly redesigned bumpers, different alloy wheels, and a heavier dose of shiny bits all around the bodywork. Inside, the SUV is expected to feature a four-seater layout, with an infotainment system for the rear passengers, alongside luxurious amenities like folding tables and a refrigerator.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV nameplate suggests that the EV will be more powerful than the EQS 580 4Matic SUV currently offered by Mercedes. The latter packs 536 hp and 633 lb-ft of torque from dual electric motors, alongside a 108.4 kWh battery pack which is good for a 285 miles range. At the moment, the only known spec of the Maybach-branded version is the provisional combined power consumption of 24.4-22.5 kWh/100 km which accompanies the official announcement.
