Prime Minister Anthony Albanese believes it’s his government’s responsibility to achieve ‘real outcomes’ and ‘real solutions’ with the safeguard mechanism reforms.
Mr Albanese welcomes the support and debate of the cross-benches to ensure he does better than the past 10 years of “denial, delay and inaction”. “The safeguard mechanism is a vehicle to achieve our commitment for 43 per cent reduction by 2030 and that is a precondition as well for our engagement in the region and the world,” he said at a press conference on Monday.
“We need to act on climate change, we can’t afford to continue to engage in conflict in this place in order to try to get the perfect outcome.”
where's the 'climate change'? bumper snow, barrier reef RECORD coral, polar bears THRIVING, Antarctica RECORD cold, Arctic NOT ice-free, extreme weather events DECLINE (Lomborg stats), atolls NOT sinking, ice-shelves NOT collapsing, sea-level NOT rising .. climate commo hysteria
cost of living is really rises. nothing else is done..... oh wait, it wasn't his election promise. in that case very consistent & real outcome of not achieving anything
