There are far gigantic aquatic creatures in the oceans, they are much less friendly

It is the same thing asking why some NBA players are mostly 6 feet or more in height and others are just 5 feet…

Bcz. no other aquatic animals have the genes(responsible for gigantism) that whales posses.

Depends on how you look at. Your question makes sense when you look at it from evolution. Their size is irrelevant when you look at them from a creation perspective.

Not quite as big as whales, the giant squid is a large aquatic animal. There are quite a few more.

Any bigger and they become a decent sized snack for cthulhu.

Whales need to hold a large amount of oxygen for long periods of time and collect large amounts of food to maintain such a large body.

Buoyancy not gravity dominates the oceans. With gravity bone strength grows as square of size (cross section) while weight grows as cube of size (proportional to volume) and therefore bone strength has limit. Environment created a size/volume niche, which evolution has filled 🤷

They evolved that way.

Whales evolved when their main food source ranges, density, and nutrition increased - it became a feedback loop for whale size. You'd need to create a wide-ranging, dense, high nutrition food source for another animal to evolve into;and, it's not going to happen in today's oceans

Nature decided to leave whale enough alone.

What about whale sharks? They’re larger than many whales.

More underwater=larger lungs=larger body size(I'm assuming as body grows along with lungs ability to absorb oxygen is more compared to per KG weight of animal).....Am i right

1.) Large animals require a lot of energy to maintain their body size, and this energy must come from food.

Maybe to balance aqua eco system....larger the size of body....lot of food required....so every living things in water can't be that big as whale....what will whale eat than?
