The Q6 E-Tron will be the first model to be based on Volkswagen Group's Premium Platform Electric , and will have an 800-volt electrical system, meaning it will be able to charge quickly at a fast charger. Audi says the Q6 E-Tron will have"powerful and efficient electric motors," though the automaker didn't reveal any kind of horsepower or range. However, we expect the compact crossover to have standard Quattro all-wheel drive, over 270 miles of range and more than 300 hp.
The Audi Q6 E-Tron is one of more than 10 electric vehicles that the automaker plans to launch by 2025 around the world. No word yet on whether there will be an SQ6 E-Tron performance variant, but we could see it a year or two after the mainstream model debuts.
