Amanda Wright and her daughter Saige join 'Jesse Watters Primetime' to discuss a Utah teacher encouraging students to eat bugs.after her child was encouraged by her teacher to eat grasshoppers as part of a school project on climate change.
Wright said she contacted the Spring Canyon Middle school's principal Alison Hansen, questioning the assignment which she said made her daughter uncomfortable. However, Wright said shewas brushed off in a series of"very condescending" and"absolutely rude" exchanges."I already went to the school and had a meeting with the principal and six other staff and nothing was done. So I am planning on taking this to the district," she told host Jesse Watters.
ARIZONA SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER SAYS DISTRICT SHOULD REJECT HIRING TEACHERS WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES: 'NOT...SAFE'
Still reporting on children and schools like the creeps you’ve become? Leave our schools alone.
In my day I would grab that excuse for a teacher and fix the problem for hurting my child

These are edible at least.
Teach the kids what insects are safe to eat. I don’t see an issue with that.
This didn’t happen.
But eating dead animals is cool
Yeah that is pretty gross and out there. ewe yuck no way I'd go for that.
Let's hope accountability is finally coming for Fox News and the GOP’s brazen lies, fascists agenda, and their brainwashed insurrectionists.
Hope the mom realizes that she's dealing with the criminally INSANE.
How Dare You !!! 😫
Clearly no fox 'news' producer has ever been to a county fair in the US. There aren't many around whatever the f-avenue these naifs inhabit. Chocolate Crickets are as American as Hot Dogs. What is wrong with you people?
Wondering what authority, both moral and legal, school districts and teachers think they have to be teaching things other than reading, writing, and arithmetic.
She refused to allow the student to write an essay from a different perspective. She insists there's ONLY one right answer & its cows are bad, insects good. That's her opinion. It's a teacher's job to help students learn how to think, NOT tell them what to think!
She knows the FDA ignores a certain % of ground up insects in the food we eat, right?
Ecocentric vs anthropocentric!!'
