The Chairman, Lagos State Urban Forest and Animal Shelter Initiative (LUFASI), Desmond Majekodunmi said it is necessary to create more awareness on ways to protect the planet, fight climate change and make the world a better place.

Majekodunmi noted that caring for nature should be a collective effort by critical stakeholders such as individuals, governments and policymakers. The General Manager, LUFASI Nature Park, Evans Basil, said man has continuously abused nature and does the opposite of God’s purpose by destroying the earth.
