The latest adaptation of the Nintendo video game franchise is from Illumination, the same animation studio responsible for Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets, and Sing. The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which releases in theaters on April 5, features an ensemble voice cast led by Chris Pratt as the titular plumber who must defeat the dragon turtle known as Bowser, voiced by Black.
