Tesla’s goal is to produce 20 million electric vehicles per year by 2030, executives reiterated. The company reported full-year deliveries of around 1.31 million vehicles in 2022.

During a question-and-answer session following the three-hour presentation, executives fielded a question about how Tesla could grow its market share in China.Elon Musk passed the question to Tom Zhu, who is heading up global production and has run the China and APAC businesses for Tesla for years. “As long as you offer a product with value at affordable price you don’t have to worry about demand,” Zhu said. “We try everything to cut costs,” he added, “and pass down that value to our customers.

He said Tesla plans to construct new car and battery cell factories, and also to produce more cars per year at its existing factories. Tesla design leader Franz von Holzhausen and the company’s vice president of vehicle engineering, Lars Moravy, took the stage to show off a number of planned manufacturing changes meant to improve the efficiency of Tesla vehicle production. But von Holzhausen said that Tesla would not yet reveal its “next gen” vehicle.

Ahead of the 2023 investor day, at a news conference on Tuesday, Mexico’s president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, said. He said the company agreed to use recycled water and take other initiatives to cope with water scarcity in the region.

I'm more interested in who else is making EV's besides Tesla.

This is typical Elon BS. There is no way they are doing that especially with all the added competition coming in the next few years.

Yeah if you’re rich!!

How many more government subsidies will the Great Self-Made Man need before he can meet these goals...?

Delivered is such a strong word here, Lets call it loaned. Sold over 5 million Recalls over 4 million for safety problems.

I see an increase in vehicle fires that can’t be extinguished.

Keep dreaming losers

He opened the meeting with a disclaimer, stating that everything he was about to say, might be a lie.

Kat Tanbarge vouched for someone named Camilla as being an expert in courtroom procedures. Then it turned out Camilla admitted she was a child. Nows she's taken the side of someone who faked an FBI letter, but Kat doesn't mention that. Due to this can't take NBC seriously anymore

I'm sorry, but isn't it a journalist's job to point out when claims are just ridiculously unrealistic? The claim that Tesla will produce 15x current number of cars within 7 years appears to be ludicrously unrealistic.

And the disclaimer before the presentation? Essentially saying that intentions are not promises to be relied upon.

This is great for him to say this, and think this to boost his stop. But, his cars are to expensive for him to reach that goal in such a short amount of time. I barely see any Tesla’s on the road now. It’s very rare.

I know I won’t be a buyer of one them.

That sounds unbelievable. No way he truly believes he can do that. Not with the prices as high as they are right now. No way he will reach this goal. No way.

How are we going to charge them all?
