typical passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year. Cost to remove it $100 a metric ton, then worry about transporting it & storing it. Time past for cheap electric cars & home solar panels. I mean really cheap!
California can't keep the power on, supply adequate water to residents or industry, or keep homeless encampments from destroying our communities (creating environmental disasters wherever they are), and they are spending money on this?
I guess CA has to waste some more of our tax money after the Dem high speed rail debacle.

Compressing CO2 for pipeline transportation is enormously expensive and enormously energy intensive. Simply storing it underground ain’t going to work.
Maybe California should focus on nuclear energy so they can charge all those electric cars first… hope y’all like the blackouts!
