Bills are rising for millions of households across the UK with energy bills alone set to increase this spring.
According to the Daily Record, the one-off payment, which is non-repayable, will be delivered by local authorities in Scotland, England and Wales to help provide financial support to around 900,000 households without a direct relationship with a domestic electricity supplier.
